Cunard, the venerable line with nearly two centuries at sea, is poised to embark upon an unprecedented venture this autumn, as the Queen Elizabeth prepares to homeport in Miami for the first time in the company’s storied history. The vessel, capable of hosting 2,000 passengers, had undergone an extensive 3-week refurbishment at Seatrium’s Admiralty Yard in Singapore, from February 25th until March 13th, 2025, in readiness for its upcoming Miami deployment.

Scheduled to commence October 16th, the Caribbean voyages—spanning from 9 to 28 nights—will operate as round-trip itineraries from Miami. The refurbished liner will call at a dozen ports, including such destinations as St Maarten, St Thomas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Antigua, Barbados, and St Lucia

Notably, the inaugural Caribbean voyage is set as a 12-night round-trip commencing on October 16th, offering exploration of sites like Bridgetown’s UNESCO-listed Garrison and the vibrant markets of Castries.

This deployment marks the first occasion on which any Cunard ship will conduct a full season from PortMiami.

Over its 185-year history, Cunard Line has operated 249 ships, and its present fleet comprises Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth, and the newest addition, Queen Anne.
