Fincantieri has confirmed a new agreement to construct an additional ultra-luxury cruise ship for RSSC-Regent Seven Seas Cruises, a brand under Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH). The contract further strengthens the long-standing collaboration between the Italian shipbuilder and one of the world’s leading cruise groups.
Scheduled for delivery in 2033, the vessel will become the third member of Regent’s Prestige Class series, following the Seven Seas Prestige—set to enter service in 2026—and her yet-unnamed sister ship expected in 2030.
The ship will measure 257 meters in length with a gross tonnage of 77,000, accommodating approximately 822 guests. This configuration ensures one of the highest space-to-guest ratios in modern cruising. The design combines refined luxury with environmental responsibility, integrating advanced energy-efficient systems and sustainable technologies in line with Fincantieri’s commitment to innovation and eco-friendly shipbuilding.
The partnership between Fincantieri and NCLH remains one of the most enduring in the maritime industry. To date, Fincantieri has delivered ten vessels for NCLH’s portfolio, which includes Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Thirteen additional ships are currently on order, underscoring the continued evolution of their strategic alliance in the luxury and premium cruise segments.
