Silversea has become the first cruise line to deploy AI-powered strength training and superyacht-grade golf simulators aboard its ships. The company’s upgrades mark a deliberate shift toward more technologically advanced wellness and sports offerings at sea.
On Silver Spirit, the cruise line has already installed “amp,” a precision-engineered, AI-driven strength training device. According to its manufacturer and the company, the system adapts to a user’s performance and provides personalized feedback through intelligent app integration; Silversea plans to expand amp to all of its classic ships by 2026.
In December 2025, the line will introduce SeaDrivePro by Off the Deck aboard Silver Dawn — a portable golf simulator designed for superyachts but adapted for shipboard use. The simulator tracks swing data in real time and offers instruction from visiting golf professionals; it will also be featured during Silversea’s 2026 World Cruise.
In addition to these two firsts, Silversea is expanding its daily and evening programming fleetwide. New sport-and-leisure infrastructure includes pickleball courts and putting greens, first appearing on Silver Muse.
Creative workshops will cover painting, crafts, regional music, pizza and sushi classes, bread-making, cake decorating, wine tasting, and mixology.
Passengers will also encounter immersive overnight-style entertainment such as moonlight films and silent discos.
Lecture series are being broadened to include topics on longevity, regional history, exploration, and cultural insight.
On the culinary front, wellness-oriented menu items — such as fresh-pressed juices and wellness shots — are being introduced in venues like the Arts Café and La Terrazza.
