Princess Cruises' North American deployment features the Sky Princess ship, the fleet's first Royal-Class vessel, now based at Port Canaveral/Orlando (Florida).

The ship's Caribbean program from Central Florida will run through March 2026. A second winter season (2026-2027) will run from November 2026 to March 2027.

From its new homeport, Sky Princess is operating 6- and 8-day itineraries to Caribbean destinations, with options for guests to combine voyages into longer two-week journeys calling at ports such as Turks & Caicos, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas USVI, and Amber Cove, Dominicana.

Port Canaveral’s accessibility, whether by road, air, or the company's Rail & Sail partnership with Brightline, has been highlighted by the cruise line as a key advantage for travelers.

Princess Cruises’ Chief Commercial Officer Jim Berra noted that the company regarded its previous Caribbean season from Port Canaveral as successful and viewed the return with Sky Princess as an expansion of capacity and choice for the market. Port Canaveral CEO Capt. John Murray remarked that the company had become an important partner to the port and that Sky Princess would strengthen Central Florida’s cruise offerings.

Sky Princess, carrying 3,660 guests and measuring 141,000 GT tons (volume), represents the Royal-Class design's features, ranging from varied dining and entertainment options to contemporary accommodations suited to present-day travelers.
