P&O Cruises adds 5-berth cabins to Arvia, Britannia and Iona

P&O Cruises UK has introduced a new accommodation configuration: 5-berth cabins on the ships Arvia, Britannia and Iona. The family-type accommodations will be available from summer 2026.

Across the three vessels, a total of 50 such cabins will be offered, combining balcony cabins or conservatory mini-suites to allow five people to share a single stateroom rather than splitting across connecting cabins.

P&O explained that growing demand for multi-generational and larger-family holidays has driven the change, making it easier for families or groups to stay together under one roof. The new layout is designed to ease a common booking barrier for larger groups and to provide greater flexibility and value for travellers.

P&O describes the move as part of its ongoing commitment to flexible, family-friendly cruising, adapting accommodation offerings to better suit families of varying sizes without compromising comfort or convenience.
