MSC Cruises has confirmed a revised deployment for the Winter 2026–2027 season that sees the cruise ship MSC World Europa repositioned from the Middle East to the Caribbean.
The large vessel had previously been scheduled to sail a winter series from November 2026 through April 2027 in ports including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha, but those calls have been cancelled amid broader adjustments to the company’s programme.
Under the updated deployment plan, MSC World Europa will operate 7‑ and 14‑night sailings from embarkation points in the French Antilles, with homeports Fort‑de‑France (Martinique), Pointe‑a‑Pitre (Guadeloupe) and Bridgetown (Barbados). The itineraries will incorporate calls at several island destinations, including Castries (Saint Lucia), Saint George (Grenada), Philipsburg (St Maarten), St John’s (Antigua), Basseterre (St Kitts), Roseau (Dominica) and Kingstown (St Vincent).
The revised schedule marks MSC World Europa’s first deployment in the French Antilles and expands MSC’s winter offerings in the Southern Caribbean. The vessel is set to replace MSC Seaview, which will be reassigned to South America (Brazil and Argentina) for the same season.
Passengers booked on MSC World Europa for the Middle East season are being contacted by MSC with details of their options, which include transferring to alternative sailings or requesting a full refund. Guests booked on MSC Seaview's Caribbean sailings will not see changes to their current itineraries or departure dates.
MSC has indicated that the redeployment of World Europa is aimed at meeting strong demand for Caribbean cruising during the northern hemisphere winter, while maintaining flexibility in its global deployment strategy. The ship is expected to return to the Middle East for the Winter 2027–2028 season, with a planned itinerary that will include several Gulf ports.
MSC World Europa is an LNG‑powered cruise ship delivered in 2022 by Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint‑Nazaire, France. She is among the largest vessels in the MSC fleet and features a capacities and amenities designed to appeal to a broad range of holidaymakers, making her a flagship asset for the cruise line’s expanded Caribbean deployment.
