Costa Cruises officially launched its winter 2027 itineraries on October 15th, 2026, introducing 6 themed cruise programmes across the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Canary Islands. The new offerings are designed to provide different travel experiences, ranging from cultural visits to European port cities to winter-sun holidays in tropical and volcanic island destinations.

The Mediterranean will remain a central part of the programme, with 3 itineraries focusing on different aspects of the region. The Iconic Mediterranean itinerary, operated by Costa Toscana, will call at Rome, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and Palermo, combining historical landmarks with architectural and cultural attractions. The Mediterranean Soul itinerary aboard Costa Pacifica will visit Barcelona, Tunis, Naples and Palermo, with an emphasis on local markets and the character of port cities. The Exotic Mediterranean programme will connect Málaga, Tunis, Tangier and Valencia, bringing together destinations in Europe and North Africa.

The Caribbean programme will feature two itineraries operated by Costa Fascinosa. The Antilles Collection will explore islands across the Lesser Antilles, including Tortola, Saint Lucia and Guadeloupe, while the Caribbean Heart itinerary will focus on the Dominican Republic and the wider Caribbean experience. The routes will offer passengers access to a range of island landscapes, beaches and natural attractions.

In the Atlantic, Costa Smeralda will operate in the Canary Islands, where the winter programme will combine visits to volcanic landscapes, coastal areas and other natural attractions. Shore excursions will include opportunities to explore Mount Teide on Tenerife and the black-sand beaches of Lanzarote, alongside the archipelago’s dunes, forests and cliffs.

Costa Cruises will also introduce its Sea Destinations concept on selected voyages, offering experiences designed to be enjoyed from the ship while at sea. These will include the Canary Sea Darkest Spot, focused on stargazing in a location with limited light pollution, and Atlantis Crest, an experience inspired by the mythology of the Atlantic.

The expanded winter programme reflects Costa Cruises’ approach to developing itineraries around different destination themes and seasonal travel preferences. By maintaining operations across the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Canary Islands, the company aims to offer alternatives to traditional summer cruising while supporting tourism activity at ports throughout the winter season.
