Ovation of the Seas Cruises Canceled Due to Unscheduled Dry Dock

Ovation of the Seas has been sidelined to deal with a technical problem. The Royal Caribbean ship has headed this week for unscheduled dry dock in China.

The dry dock was needed for maintenance on components of Ovation’s propulsion system. Despite the problem, the ship has been fully operational with no maneuverability issues.

Both the April 26 and April 30 sailings of the ship had to be canceled. It is expected that Ovation of the Seas, currently sailing 4-, 5- and 6-night cruises from Tianjin, China, will return to service later in May.
