2018 cruise season will starts at Port Warnemunde on April 8 with the arrival of Fred Olsen's ship Boudicca. A total of 205 visits by 43 cruise ships are expected, more than ever before.
The vessels will berth in Warnemunde 180 times and at the overseas port 25 times. 9 ships will be heading for the mouth of Warnow River for the first time.
Rostock-based AIDA Cruises will again operate a couple of its ships from its Baltic home port of Warnemunde, AIDAmar and AIDAdiva.
The sailing list for the year includes 39 port calls by large passenger ships with a length of over 300 meters: Britannia, Regal Princess, Norwegian Breakaway, Celebrity Silhouette and Celebrity Eclipse. Norwegian Breakaway is the largest of the coming season with a GT of 145,655.
Three port calls of Phoenix Reisen's Albatros have been notified for December, so that the 2018 cruise season in Warnemunde will end unusually late.
