Award-winning Freixa embodies excellence in cuisine from Spain via his innovative style and is a further enrichment to the fine-dining offering of MSC Cruises.

The partnership will see new main dishes and tapas by Chef Freixa introduced across the fleet, along with exclusive selection of dishes designed for Christmas and New Year menus.

MSC Cruises food options

For summer 2018, the exceptional dishes will be available across the fleet of MSC Cruises excluding ships from China and the USA, and for winter 2018-2019, these will be available in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Emirates

Plans are underway to launch an MSC gastronomy cruise for gourmands across the globe in search of the ultimate food & travel experience.

As part of Elegant Night celebrations, passengers in the main restaurants onboard MSC Cruises ships will enjoy Freixa’s new signature dish, the mouth-watering Duck Royal. Those staying in the exclusive MSC Yacht Club will be offered to Glazed Pluma of Iberian pork or for a lighter bite, a choice of tapas. The private restaurant within the Yacht Club offers a host of gastronomic delights in stylish setting.

Chef Freixa joins 5 other renowned chefs who are collaborating with MSC. Most recently, Roy Yamaguchi’s Asian Market Kitchen onboard MSC Seaside welcomed the first guests in December 2017.
