Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is offering US$1 deposits on some of their most popular cruise ships, available until June 28. Most of line's other cruises can be reserved with a US$50 deposit.
The dollar-deposit deal is offered on more than 200 eligible voyages for guests booked in any mini-suite or lower category (inside, oceanview, balcony). Ships that offer voyages covered by the sale include Breakaway, Dawn, Escape, Epic, Jade, Gem, Getaway, Pearl, Sun and Sky. Not all voyages on these cruisers are eligible, so clients need to consult either the cruise company or a travel professional.
The dollar-deposit deal is easily combined with Norwegian’s ‘Free at Sea’ promotion, that allows to pick from various perks like unlimited open bar, free wifi, shore excursions, and more. How many perks a passenger gets to pick depends on the stateroom category they wind up booking.
Those planning to sail in Norwegian’s high-end ship-within-a-ship area, the Haven, Suite or Concierge categories, will not be eligible for the US$1 deposit offer. Most Haven guests automatically get Specialty Dining Package, Ultimate Beverage Package, a 250-minute internet package and US$50 per-port shore excursion credits.
