NOLA to Welcome Its Largest Cruise Ship Ever

On Sunday, November 11, Norwegian Cruise Line is back to New Orleans, Louisiana introducing the Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship to the Big Easy with 5- to 11-day Caribbean cruises.

The recently renovated Breakaway is the biggest cruise ship to homeport in the port city, as well as the youngest this season. It offers passengers the freedom and flexibility to plan their dream vacation at sea via no assigned dining and entertainment times, 22 bars and lounges, 25 dining options, a comprehensive water park with the fastest waterslide at sea, as well as one of the largest ropes courses of any cruise ship and an entertainment program mirroring the vibrancy of the Big Easy.

After her renovation in May, the Norwegian Breakaway ship debuted refreshed public areas and staterooms, and introduced a new bar & lounge concept with Syd Norman’s Pour House. Additional entertainment options onboard include Tony Award-nominated Rock of Ages, Burn the Floor and Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy.

Through April 12, 2019 Norwegian Breakaway will sail out of New Orleans, offering 5-, 7-, 10- and 11-day Western Caribbean voyages with visits to some top Caribbean destinations, such as Costa Maya, Cozumel, Roatan, Belize City and Harvest Caye, line’s resort-style experience in Belize.
