Preferred Bidder on Port of Nassau Delayed

The Bahamian government delays its evaluation period and decision on which entity will develop and operate Port of Nassau, Bahamas through the first quarter of next year to allow public servants and stakeholders involved in the process an opportunity to recognize the holidays.

On December 7, bids were submitted to the government, and opened 4 days later, on December 11.

Port of Nassau (New Providence Island, Bahamas)

A total of 3 entities have submitted bids: Global Ports Holding Company, Providence Advisors (representing Nassau port partners) and Cruise Ports International Ltd, (representing cruise ports international, Disney, CarnivalNorwegian and Royal Caribbean Cruises).

The evaluation process is slated to take 21 days.
