European Waterways Upgrades Fleet

Hotel-barge company European Waterways announced it will invest over USD 0,5 million in fleet renovations. Refurbishments are planned to include stateroom redesigns, cabin bathrooms upgrades, enhanced onboard amenities.

According to company's managing director Derek Banks, European Waterways will continue its collaboration with the UK company Falchi Interiors Ltd (based in Datchet, Slough-Berkshire, England), that specializes in luxury residential interior design.

The ships Scottish Highlander and Spirit of Scotland (on Caledonian Canal) and Finesse barge (in southern Burgundy France) will receive upgrades to their en-suite bathrooms in 2019. The operations team of the company near Chablis (Burgundy) is at work adding soft furnishings and upgrading sound and lighting systems.

Fleetwide renovations extend beyond cruise suites. Deployed on Canal du Midi (France), Enchante barge received a built-in saloon bar, while the 20-passenger La Bella Vita barge received an outdoor spa pool.
