Finesse barge

Finesse is a luxury hotel barge completely renovated in 2016. Her sister (by design) is another European Waterways barge, Enchante, which cruises on the Canal du Midi. From May 2016, Finesse began operating cruises on the Saone River and the Canal du Centre in southern Burgundy.

Designed with "hotel luxury" in mind, the barge features 4 spacious suites, each with a beautifully appointed bathroom and air conditioning. As some of the fleet’s largest accommodations, each suite can be configured as double-bedded or twin. The barge also boasts a spacious sun deck (outdoor top deck) with an alfresco dining area and a spa pool.

The saloon (lounge) has large panoramic windows, while a demonstration galley (kitchen) allows passengers to watch the chef prepare gourmet meals. The interior is modern and stylish, with abundant natural light. With a crew of five, Finesse is the ideal river cruise barge for exploring southern Burgundy’s vineyards and rolling countryside.

The barge offers a perfect vacation for adventurous travelers who enjoy slow-paced cruising along France’s romantic canals. European Waterways also provides many opportunities for cycling and walking along the itinerary route, or guests may simply relax on the open deck and enjoy the passing countryside.
