Panache barge

MS Le Panache barge is a 12-passenger luxury hotel barge (cruise ship) 1959-built (in Holland) as cargo barge for drybulk cargo shipping. In 1998, the vessel was drydock converted into a hotel barge and currently cruises along the inland waterways of France, Holland and Belgium. Holland's popular "Tulip Time Cruises" run in the spring, and afterward the barge cruises through Belgium, passes Paris City and through France's Champagne region to spend the rest of season in Alsace. The vessel (ENI number 14000084) is currently owned and operated by European Waterways.

Panache is a classic Dutch barge cruise ship furnished in contemporary style creating a charming and comfortable ambience. The staterooms (6x Junior Suites) are air-conditioned and with en-suite bathrooms (oversized showers, massage jets, double-sink vanities), twin or double beds (Queen-size).

The ship's dining room (12-seat dining table) is part of the salon (bar lounge) with comfortable sofas, music, books, 24-hours open bar. The fore-located Sun Deck has a Jacuzzi (whirlpool hot tub) and a sunbathing / relaxation area with premium garden loungers and deckchairs. The dining room provides gourmet French cuisine of the highest quality, with meals always served on fine china and silverware.

The ship Panache has a highly professional crew of 5, led by an experienced Captain (Master) who ensures a safe cruising vacation through France. The knowledge of Alsace region, combined with private excursions and 12 bicycles (provided complimentary for shoreside biking) allows passengers to explore the French countryside to their heart's desire.
