P&O Cruises' Iona Receives a Luxurious SPA

P&O CruisesIona will boast whirlpools, destination-themed treatments, and a salt steam room when she launches in May 2020.

A couple of treatments, the Baltic & Ice Massage and the Nordic Cleanse, available onboard the vessel, have been inspired by Nordic hot & cold therapies.

During her maiden season, Iona will sail itineraries to/from the Norwegian Fjords.

Guests will be able to spend up to 45 minutes in the ship's salt steam room which is a first for P&O Cruises, as well as access a pair of Infinity Whirlpools in Iona's open-air deck area, The Retreat.

P&O will also debut a spa shop specially dedicated to skin, body and hair care on Iona. New group classes, such as meditation and indoor cycling, will also be offered.

Glasgow-born Wesley Dunlop will captain the new build, 4 years after he first joined P&O Cruises. Dunlop has also captained Britannia and Aurora during his time with the cruise line.
