AIDA Cruises Opens Bookings for World Cruise 2020-2021

AIDA Cruises is launching its 4th world cruise. Highlights on the 117-day around the world voyage include exotic destinations like Tierra del Fuego, Cape Horn, Sydney, Tasmania, MauritiusCape Town. Bookings are already open.

On October 26, 2020, AIDAaura sets sail to visit 41 ports in 19 countries on 4 continents. Apart from popular destinations, the vessel is due to visit a number of ports for the first time, such as Puerto Chacabuco, Nuku’alofa, and the African port Banjul.

One of the top highlights is New Year’s Eve in Sydney when passengers will have the chance to see the world-famous fireworks display against the backdrop of the Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge.

Beginning in Hamburg, and with shortstops in the UK and Portugal, AIDAaura sets sail for South America. Once there, travelers can look forward to destinations like Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, and Cape Horn. 

On her way to Australia, the AIDA Cruises ship is due to visit Tahiti, Tonga, and Fiji. Once in Australia, the schedule includes metropolises such as Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth. After the adventures Down Under, the ship continues sailing in the Indian Ocean, heading for Mauritius, and calling at Madagascar.

After the second equator crossing and calls in Spain and France, AIDAaura returns to Hamburg on February 20, 2021.
