When the first Virgin Voyages ship - Scarlet Lady - startssits inaugural season 2020, the cruise line's Sailors will benefit from access to extraordinary Intelligentsia Coffee brews. The partnership between Virgin Voyages and the Chicago-based specialty coffee pioneer will be rooted in shared values of commitment to responsible sourcing and quality.

Virgin Voyages Sailors will always have a good cup of coffee on their vacation. The exclusive Intelligentsia blend of Virgin will be available complimentary at all eateries onboard Scarlet Lady and her sisterships.

The Virgin Voyages Blend sources coffee on a year-round basis, from Intelligentsia’s Northern season menu during the summer and fall along with Southern season menu during the winter and spring. Throughout the year, the team of Intelligentsia creates a consistent flavour experience, balancing the familiar flavours with a spirit of discovery.

Ministry of Ground and Ministry of Ground Too, that is powered by Intelligentsia are due to serve as the vessel’s coffee bars, equipped with made to order beverages and expert baristas.

Situated in the heart of the cruise ship on deck 7, in The Galley food market, Virgin's coffee lovers can gaze out at the ocean through a porthole-style window while enjoying a cup of coffee. Designed by Softroom of London, Ministry of Ground boasts large porthole-style windows that are specially designed with their own window seat.

Ministry of Ground also features soft earth-tone finishes. It is furnished with purple and aquamarine hues for seating, loungers, and tables. In addition to hand-crafted specialty coffees, Sailors who visit Ministry of Ground can indulge in complimentary cakes and bites with retail items such as bags of Intelligentsia Coffee and JoJo loose-leaf teas, kettles, coffee cups, and more available for purchase.
