Cunard Line’s ship Queen Elizabeth kicked off company’s Alaskan season from homeport Vancouver BC. The liner will sail four 10-night roundtrips from Vancouver in 2019, and 10 itineraries in 2020, visiting Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Victoria BC, and more.

The 2020 program runs from June through September, offering a variety of 9 to 12 nights as well as a getaway trip to San Francisco for an overnight stay on the July 4. The Alaska cruises will offer longer port stays.

In other experiences only found on Cunard, passengers have the chance to immerse in the culture of Alaska via Cultured Heritage Guides on every voyage. For relaxation, travellers can indulge in Mareel Wellness and Beauty (the line’s new holistic spa concept) on every trip, offering meditation rituals and oceanic treatments inspired by the wilderness. With the backdrop of Alaska, they can also enjoy an Ice White Ball in the Queens Room.

Queen Elizabeth has recently undergone a refurbishment, launching the new Mareel Wellness & Beauty spa concept, developed in partnership with Canyon Ranch. An Alaskan Wellness Experience is to be featured during the Alaska cruises – a 2.5-hour treatment that incorporates elements of the environment.

Cunard continues the partnership with Rocky Mountaineer, with pre- and post-cruise tours on the popular railroad. Tours include either 3- to 5-nights’ accommodation, plus 2 full days aboard the train.
