Passenger Medevaced from Celebrity Reflection in Ireland

Drogheda Coast Guard called out to prepare a landing zone in Drogheda, Ireland for Rescue 116 coastguard helicopter Sunday evening, May 26.

Rescue 116 had taken a passenger off a cruise ship off Carlingford coast. The Celebrity Cruises vessel Celebrity Reflection had departed Dublin early Monday, May 27.

Louth Fire & Rescue service provided fire cover on the scene while Rescue 116 landed on and transferred the patient to the waiting ambulance crew. The cruise passenger was then transported to a hospital in Drogheda.
