HAL-Holland America Line opens bookings for 2021 Grand Africa Voyage and 2022 Grand World Voyage

HAL-Holland America Line opened bookings for two of its epic explorations: the 2021 Grand Africa Voyage and the 2022 Grand World Voyage. Passengers who want to circle the globe on a 128-day odyssey can now make their Grand World Voyage and Africa circumnavigation reservations.

The two itineraries are roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale FL and include overnights at some of the most iconic cities in the world.

Grand World Voyage: A Journey Like No Other. Holland America’s 2022 Grand World Voyage aboard ms Zaandam sails around the world on a 128-day journey that offers an extensive collection of ports, longer stays, and overnights ashore. Departing from Fort Lauderdale FL on January 3, 2022, on a westward route, the Voyage charts a course from continent to continent, immersing passengers in each destination so they come away with an understanding of the sites visited.

Highlights include 50 ports of call in 27 countries across 4 continents, overnights at 9 ports, late-night departures at 10 ports, scenic cruising in the Amazon, Kanmon Strait and Dardanelles, transits of the Suez and Panama canals, 2 equator crossings on 1 crossing of the International Date Line.

Grand Africa Voyage: From Sea to Savannah. In fall next year, Holland America’s Grand Africa Voyage will circle the continent. It features over a dozen epic wildlife encounters and safari experiences. The 71-day voyage aboard ms Zaandam departs Fort Lauderdale FL on October 10, 2021, and takes a clockwise route around the continent.

Shorter segments for the Grand Voyages will be released at a later date.
