Star Clippers announced that its tall sailing ship Star Clipper will return to the Mediterranean in 2022.

Star Clipper, which has been deployed in Southeast Asia, will finish the 2021-2022 season in Thailand before making her way to the Mediterranean to join the sisterships Star Flyer and Royal Clipper.

2022 will mark the first time since 2016 that all 3 Star Clippers cruise ships will sail together in the Mediterranean.

Passengers who book their 2022 Star Clipper Mediterranean sailing by October 31, 2020, can receive USD 600 savings per cabin.

As part of the transition, the Star Clipper company will depart Safaga Egypt in April 2022 and cruise through the Suez Canal, offering passengers the opportunity to pass through the artificial sea-level waterway connecting the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea onboard an authentic tall sailing ship.

Back in the Mediterranean, Star Clipper will offer various itineraries including Yachtman’s Paradise – a 7-night trip between Istanbul and Piraeus-Athens - as well as round trips from Civitavecchia-Rome and Cannes from May through October.

For travellers looking to experience Southeast Asia onboard a tall ship before Star Clipper heads to Europe, various sailings around Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore are available to book.
