DCL-Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Wonder ship once again sailing back to Castaway Cay Bahamas

DCL-Disney Cruise Line’s second-oldest ship Disney Wonder is once again sailing back to the company's private island Castaway Cay Bahamas. Both sisterships Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream remain at anchorage off Port Canaveral Florida, while Disney Magic is in Dover (England UK).

Disney Wonder was DCL's first ship to return to Castaway Cay. There have been speculations that short, 3-day trips exclusively to the island might be the best chance to return to operation, creating a bubble for the would-be passengers.

The speculation was due to new guidelines stating that cruise companies have to work with port authorities and organize emergency protocols in case there is a COVID outbreak on a cruise ship. As Castaway Cay is DCL’s private island, there will be no need to deal with a 3rd-party authority.

The current sailing is Disney Wonder‘s 3rd voyage since returning to Port Canaveral. Details of the liner’s recent trips remain unclear.
