Azamara Quest departs Glasgow, Scotland ahead of Azamara Cruises' restart

The Sycamore Partners-owned company Azamara Cruises announced that the ship Azamara Quest was the fleet's first to depart from Peel Port (King George V Dock) in Greenock-Glasgow Scotland, Monday afternoon, July 26, after being 13 months docked in the port city.

For over a year, the Port has been a safe spot for 3 Azamara boats (Journey, Pursuit, Quest). The cruise ships and their crew enjoyed support from the local people, authorities, and businesses, such as taxi companies, grocery stores, hotel owners.

Azamara Quest is sailing for drydock in Cadiz Spain in order to finalize preparations ahead of her return to service in August with 5 back-to-back/B2Bs 7-night "Greece Country-Intensive Voyages" and a total of 18 late-night port stays, including in Heraklion Crete, Santorini Island, and Rhodes Island. These voyages will debut a new onboard program for passengers – Destination Celebration – an adaptation of AzAmazing Evenings.
