A luxury cruise ship made her first visit to Newcastle upon Tyne (England).
Saga Cruises' ship Spirit of Adventure sailed to the Port of Tyne on Wednesday morning, July 28, and berthed at Northumbrian Quay, North Shields.
Saga's boat is on her inaugural cruise season and was specially designed to resemble a "high-end London hotel on the seas more than a cruise ship".
Spirit of Adventure has 10 decks, 554 staterooms, 5 restaurants, bars and lounges, a 444-seat theatre, premium wellness facilities (Gym, Spa, Hydrotherapy Pool, 5x treatment rooms, 2x Saunas, Steam Room, Beauty Salon, Sports Court), Lido Buffet, a shop selling jewellery, perfumes, clothing, gifts, confectionary.
A number of spectators watched from both sides of the river as the ship entered the Tyne.
