Windstar launches new 79-day Grand European Cruise

The Xanterra-owned premium brand Windstar Cruises announced the sale of a 79-day “Grand European Bucket List Adventure” - the company's ever-longest itinerary, along with new voyages scheduled through 2023.

The new itineraries were released online as well as in a new Voyage Collection brochure.

Windstar's Grand European voyage departs from Stockholm Sweden on July 25, 2023, and takes passengers on a new journey spanning 22 different countries through the Baltic, Northern Atlantic, Mediterranean, and the Black Sea. With a total of  71 days in port (and just 8 sea days), the itinerary has the right amount of rest and relaxation between new discoveries.

There are also 11 overnights giving travelers a chance to dine and sample the nightlife in destinations including Amsterdam Holland, Bordeaux France, Copenhagen Denmark, Seville Spain.

With an exploration of Germany (a new offering by Windstar), there are 2 first-time ports in Binz (Rugen Island) and Hamburg, in addition to the new for Windstar port Arendal Norway.

The voyage ends on October 12, 2023, in Istanbul Turkey, and takes place onboard Windstar’s 312-passenger ship Star Legend - small enough to navigate through Kiel Canal and Corinth Canal.
