Oktoberfest celebrated on Genting Dream sailing out of Hong Kong's Kai Tak cruise terminal

From October 3-29, 2021, the world-famous German festival Oktoberfest is celebrated onboard Genting Dream ship sailing out of Hong Kong's Kai Tak Cruise Terminal.

The Fleet Executive Chef Reinhard Mammes, who is a native German, is displaying signature German dishes, such as Pretzels, Crispy Pork Knuckles, Nurnberger Sausages, and other deliciousness with the German beers in the Exclusive restaurants onboard, Dream Dining Room and Lido. 

For guests who love to cook, complimentary culinary workshops are held, with the chance to learn how to make German Pretzels, Bavarian Potato Salad, and Apfel Strudel. A special Oktoberfest Drinks Package is also available highlighting a selection of German beers and an Oktoberfest at Sea beer stein to take home.

Oktoberfest is a traditional annual Bavarian festival held in Munich Germany, dating back to 1810 as a celebration of the marriage of the crown prince of Bavaria (King Ludwig) to Princess Therese.
