Virgin Voyages introduces cabin refurbishment on Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady

   January 25, 2022 ,   Cruise Industry

Virgin Voyages’ ship Scarlet Lady boasts a dynamic cabin design with intelligent architecture.

Both Scarlet and Valiant Lady (Virgin’s second liner) provide 1330 staterooms plus 78 RockStar Suites with 86% of all cabins being balconied and 93% outside/with ocean views.

Between custom Seabeds, which are specially engineered for Virgin, ambient lighting and rain showers to fit any mood (“Pump Me Up” / “Zen”) Virgin's cabins are designed to meet the needs of modern Sailors.

In a move to elevate the design further, Virgin is refreshing its accommodations on both boats Scarlet and Valiant, bringing warmer energy and a more sophisticated feel.

Building on the nautical nature of the vessels, the refreshed interiors feature wooden beams and additional wood finishings along with artwork that embodies Virgin Voyages’ contemporary nature.

The berths (Seabeds) and the sea views continue to be the cabins' focal points, urging the designers to keep the nautical stripes ever-present in the decorative pillows. Increased storage space and drawers round out refresh.

More than 50% of the Scarlet Lady's cabins have been refurbished, with the project slated to finish in the spring. The cabins on Valiant Lady will be complete before the ship enters service in March 2022 from the UK.
