Bandol (port locode FRXBD) is a Western Mediterranean (and French Riviera) cruise port and town in France's Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region (Var department) with population around 9,000. The town is west of Toulon and was founded in the late 16th century.

Created in 1941, the Bandol wine region is one of Provence’s internationally most recognized wine-growing regions. Here are produced rose, red and white wines from vineyards covering a total area of approx 1550 hectares (1,56 km2 / 3830 acres).

The vineyards are spread across 8 villages, but the majority are north of Bandol.
