Beilstein is a Moselle River cruise port and small village in Cochem-Zell district (Rhineland-Palatinate state, Germany). This small settlement has population around 200 and features one of Moselle River's best preserved historic townscapes, for which is often called "mini Rothenburg". Overlooking the village are the ruins of Metternich castle (built by Prince von Metternich-Winneburg zu Beilstein).
Beilstein is also a pilgrimage site for the displayed in the St Joseph’s monastery church statue "Black Madonna". The statue was built in the 13th century in Spain, but was left behind after Spanish rule here ended following the Thirty Years' War (). Each year (July-August) here is held the Beilstein Fairy-Tale festival featuring puppet shows by Cochem's marionette theatre. These events are held at the winegrowing museum.
