Central sightseeing is practical on foot. For attractions farther away, arrange a taxi from town. Transbunbury buses serve the city and suburbs, but check the relevant timetable before relying on them during a short call.

Combine the bay’s beachfront paths with the Dolphin Discovery Centre’s marine exhibits. From the city centre, walking is practical if you are comfortable with a longer outing; a taxi saves time and walking in hot weather. Allow 2–3 hours for the beach and centre, excluding a boat tour.

Wild dolphins sometimes approach the supervised beach interaction zone, particularly on mornings in the warmer months. Their visits cannot be timed to your port call. Follow staff instructions and do not approach or feed dolphins independently.
