Meemu Atoll (aka Mulaku, Mulak, and Mulakatolhu) is one of Maldives' 19 atolls (ring-shaped groups of coral reefs and small islands).
On the Kolhufushi Island there is a historical mosque. Off the southeastern reef of Kolhuvaariyaafushi there is a 1573 wreck of Kalhuohfummi - the ship of Muhammad Thakurufaanu Al Auzam - a captain and king of the Maldives between 1573-1585. He is considered as the nation's hero for driving out the Portuguese who ruled the Maldives between 1558-1573. His victory is celebrated each year as Qaumee Dhuvas (National Day).
The Meemu Atoll cruise port map is interactive. It shows the port's exact location, along with the real-time cruise ship traffic (if any) in its vicinity - today, and right now. By zooming-out you can see other cruise ship ports located near Meemu Atoll, Maldives.
If you lose the Meemu Atoll location on the map, simply reload the page (also with F5 button). This feature is integrated with the CruiseMapper's cruise ship tracker tracking the vessels' current positions at sea and in ports.
