Boudicca cabins review
Follows the review of MS Boudicca staterooms in terms of amenities, furnishings, and complimentary services:
Premier Suites, Marquee Suites, and Superior Suites each feature a sitting room (with dining table, sofa, and chairs), a separate bedroom (with twin or double bed), a private balcony, mini-bar and fridge, and a stereo system with CD/DVD player. All suite accommodations (including Single Suites) have a bathroom with a bathtub and shower.
All Balcony cabins feature a private step-out veranda. However, many of these balconies have partially or fully obstructed views due to the larger lifeboats installed in 2011. Each balcony is furnished with one metal-glass table, plastic-webbing upholstered chairs, and metal sun loungers.
Superior Outside Cabins offer a picture window, a seating area with a sofa bed, and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Four of these cabins are equipped for disabled passengers (Category B-Superior on Lido Deck 7). All standard outside staterooms (grades D-E-F) and some Single Outside cabins (grades K-L) feature a porthole window.
All MS Boudicca cabins include an en-suite bathroom (with WC, sink, and bath/shower), floor-to-ceiling wardrobes (with ample storage), dressing table, desk with drawers, and a tea/coffee-making facility. Beds are either twin (separated) or double. Cabins in grades A-Outside to I-Inside additionally feature either fixed Pullman beds or sofa beds. Stateroom amenities include a smart interactive HDTV, direct-dial telephone, individual air-conditioning, safe, pool towels, hairdryer, and liquid soap dispensers in the bathrooms. Complimentary toiletry bags are available upon request and include a shower cap, soap, body lotion, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, sewing kit, and shoe cleaner.
The interactive TV system allows passengers to book MS Boudicca shore excursions directly from their cabin and to watch port talks and movies on demand.
Wheelchair-accessible cabins (numbers 7027, 7028, 7029, and 7045) feature wider entry doors, a spacious living area, large bathroom, and a walk-in closet.
Complimentary room service is available from 6 am to 11 pm (except on embarkation and disembarkation days). The room service menu includes soups, cold main dishes, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, desserts, pastries, tea/coffee, fruit juices, milk, alcoholic and soft drinks, special occasion canapés, party platters, and en-suite Continental Breakfast (served from 7 to 9 am).
