Costa Victoria cabins review

Of all Costa Victoria cabins, 26% featured private balconies. The ship had 6 wheelchair-accessible staterooms and 81 connecting rooms. Passenger accommodations were distributed across several decks, totaling 20 Suites, 242 Balcony cabins, 311 Oceanview cabins, and 391 Inside cabins. There were 9 different cabin categories overall.

Below is a review of Costa Victoria's staterooms, including amenities, furnishings, and complimentary services.

All Costa Victoria cabins featured a sleeping area with twin beds (convertible to a Queen-size double bed), bedside tables with lamps, a lounge/living area with seating, a mirrored vanity/writing desk with a chair, and a closet with drawers. Additional amenities included a smart HDTV (with infotainment system and satellite reception), direct-dial telephone, electronic safe (in the closet), en-suite bathroom (WC, washbasin, shower cubicle, hairdryer), mini-bar/fridge, individual air-conditioning, complimentary 24-hour room service, and complimentary in-room Continental Breakfast. Most cabins and suites were equipped with a single/double sofabed or Pullman/bunk beds to accommodate a third or fourth guest.

Costa Victoria Suites came in three types—with balconies or with windows. Each S-Balcony Suite had a step-out veranda furnished with lounge seating, a dining area with a four-seat table, a separate dressing room, and a larger bathroom with a bathtub. Additional perks for S-Suite guests included in-room dining service (sparkling wine, daily canapés, fresh fruit), VIP services (priority check-in, embarkation/disembarkation, tendering, Captain’s cocktail party invitation), butler service (packing/unpacking assistance), pillow menu, cotton robes, slippers, upgraded luxury bath products, and a complimentary specialty restaurant dinner for two.

Mini-Suites were available in two categories: MB-Balcony and MS-Window. MB-Balcony Mini-Suites had a private veranda (furnished with one sunlounger, two chairs, and one table) and a bathroom with a bathtub. MS-Window Mini-Suites featured floor-to-ceiling windows instead of a veranda and also had a bathtub.

All Balcony cabins had step-out verandas with sliding glass doors, a table, and two patio chairs. The interior included a lounge area with additional bedding (single/double sofabed) for a third or fourth person. Oceanview cabins featured a large, round-shaped, non-opening picture window. Both Outside and Inside cabins were equipped with additional upper (Pullman) beds for third or fourth guests.

The list of bonus amenities (complimentary/included in the ticket price) for Suite passengers on Costa cruise ships includes:

  • All-inclusive beverage package (unlimited drinks, including those priced up to EUR 9 on the bar menu, complimentary mini-bar, and wine pairings in all restaurants)
  • Complimentary meals at the Club Restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
  • Priority seating in the Main Dining Room
  • Priority reservations for specialty restaurants
  • Complimentary room service and full in-cabin dining
  • Welcome gifts (bottle of Ferrari sparkling wine, canapés), Illy coffee maker, daily replenished fresh fruit, luxury bathrobes and slippers, pillow menu, organic cotton bed sheets
