Golden Horizon cabins review
Tradewind Voyages’ Golden Horizon ship (fka Flying Clipper) has a total of 140 staterooms. Their interiors feature dark wood furnishings and spacious en-suite bathrooms with large mirrors and gold fittings. The ship offers 3 main types of staterooms (Owner's Suite, Deluxe Balcony, Porthole Cabin) in 14 categories. All cabins have ocean views, either from a step-out balcony or porthole windows.
Regardless of category, all passenger staterooms include as standard amenities: en-suite bathroom (WC, shower, single-sink vanity with large mirror and under-sink storage, premium toiletries), wall-mounted smart HDTV, bedside cabinets with reading lamps, vanity desk (with drawers and leather chair), phone, complimentary bottled water (replenished daily), and twice-daily housekeeping.
Standard Cabins feature a double bed (convertible to twins on request) and 2x portholes (round, non-opening windows).
Deluxe Balcony Cabins feature a private step-out balcony, sofabed (for a 3rd passenger / 1 adult or 2 children), larger bathroom (with shower over bathtub), complimentary mini-bar, and 24-hour room service.
Owner's Suites offer a separate bedroom and living room (with sofabed, low table and 4 armchairs, 4-seat dining table, dry bar), step-out balcony, bathroom (with separate bathtub and shower), half bath (guest WC), walk-in closet (2 large wardrobes), complimentary mini-bar (stocked with mini bottles of liquor), 24-hour room service, Concierge service, in-cabin dining (daily canapés), laundry and pressing. All four Suites are located forward on Deck 4 (Upper/Pool Deck) and are named "Mary Rose" (#701), "Victory" (#702), "Discovery" (#703), and "Endeavour" (#704).
