MS Maud cabins review

Follows the review of MS Maud (former MS Midnatsol) ship's staterooms as amenities, furniture and complimentary services:

  • “MX” Owner Suites have a private balcony, 2 rooms (separate bedroom), a separate seating area (dining table, TV, stereo, mini-bar/fridge).
  • “MG” Grand Suites have either a private balcony or a bay window, 1 or 2 rooms (separate bedroom), a separate seating area (TV, stereo, mini-bar/fridge, and some of them have hot tubs.
  • “M” Suites have a private balcony, 1 or 2 rooms (separate bedroom), a separate sitting area (TV, mini-bar/fridge).
  • “QJ” and “Q2” Mini-Suites have 1 view window, a seating area (TV, mini-bar/fridge).
  • “U2-P2-N2-J2” Outside cabins have each 1 view window, 1 sofa bed and 1 single bed, vanity table.
  • “L2” Obstructed View cabins are located on the ship’s lower decks. Each stateroom has 2 Porthole Windows, 1 sofa bed and 1 single bed, vanity table.
  • “I2” Inside cabins have single beds and sofabeds (some are with upper/lower beds).

Each of the MS Maud cabins offers a private/en-suite bathroom (with WC/shower, washbasin, hairdryer, heated floor), ample wardrobe, drawers, electronic safe box and lifejackets (in the closet), direct-dial phone (intercom). digital radio/alarm clock, smart HDTV, 220V power plugs. All staterooms are air-conditioned.

Room service is offered twice daily but costs extra. Suites’ mini-bars are complimentary (stocked with bottled water, soda, alcohol, candy bars; snacks).
