All MS Zaandam staterooms (across all categories and grades) feature standard amenities including a spacious sleeping area (two twin beds convertible to a Queen-size bed), premium mattresses with HAL's signature “Mariner’s Dream” bedding, an en-suite bathroom (wall-mounted toilet, shower cubicle, massage showerheads, 5x magnifying mirror, quality hairdryer, terry bathrobes, Egyptian cotton towels, Elemis bath products), individual air-conditioning, and a lounge/sitting area (sofabed, vanity table with magnifying mirror). Additional in-cabin amenities include a smart HDTV (infotainment system, Internet, on-demand movies), DVD player (with DVD library), direct-dial phone, electronic safe box, lifejackets (in the closet), personal stationery, fresh fruit (upon request), ice bucket, serving tray (for in-cabin drinks), and complimentary services (ice delivery, shoeshine, nightly turndown).
All furniture details are shown in the HAL Zaandam cabin floor plans in the table above.
All Suites (including Vista/balcony cabins) have floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening onto a private veranda furnished with a table, chairs, and sun loungers.
Pinnacle and Neptune Suites additionally feature twin beds convertible to a king, bathrooms with whirlpool bathtubs, a dressing room, and a double sofa bed in the seating area. Most Oceanview cabins have a Picture Window, except category G staterooms, which feature a single Porthole Window. This Holland America ship does not currently offer “Lanai” staterooms (CA-category promenade-view cabins with sliding doors opening directly onto the Lower Promenade Deck 3).
