The list of MS Koningsdam cabins includes a total of 912 balcony accommodations (164 Suites and 748 Balcony staterooms), meaning 69% of all cruise rooms feature a private veranda. The remaining cabin types are Oceanview (142) and Interior (277, without windows). There are 35 total cabin categories, including 27 wheelchair-accessible cabins.

The ship offers 12 Oceanview Studios (single-occupancy cabins for solo travelers) and 32 Family Oceanviews (quintuple/5-person cabins designed for families with children).

All MS Koningsdam staterooms, regardless of category, include as standard amenities: a spacious sleeping area (two twin beds convertible to a queen-size bed), premium mattresses with luxury bedding (HAL's signature "Mariner’s Dream"), en-suite bathroom (wall-mounted toilet, shower cubicle, massage showerheads, 5x magnifying mirror, quality hairdryer, terry bathrobes, Egyptian cotton towels, Elemis bath products), individually controlled air-conditioning, lounge/sitting area (sofabed, vanity table with magnifying mirror), smart HDTV (infotainment system, Internet access, on-demand movies), DVD player (with library), direct-dial phone, electronic safe, lifejackets (in closet), personal stationery, fresh fruit (upon request), ice bucket, serving tray (for in-cabin drinks), and complimentary services such as ice, shoeshine, and nightly turndown.

The largest accommodations are the Penthouses/Pinnacle Suites (Deck 7). PS-Pinnacle Suites feature a separate bedroom (king-size bed, premium bedding, bedside USB ports), master bathroom (oversized hot tub, shower stall, separate shower, oversize towels, luxury bathrobes, slippers), living room (sofa bed, premium sound system, data port), dining room (6-seat table, pantry, mini-bar/fridge, microwave), guest toilet (powder room), large walk-in closet (with vanity table and chair), and dressing room (with magnifying makeup mirror). (SA, SB, SC, SQ-Spa) Neptune Suites include two lower beds convertible to a king-size bed, a bathroom (dual-sink vanity, full-size hot tub/shower, separate shower cubicle, oversize towels, luxury bathrobes, slippers), and a sitting area with floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a private sundeck (aft wraparound terrace with 4-seat dining table).

(SS, SY) Signature Suites/Mini-Suites feature two lower beds convertible to a king-size bed, one single Murphy bed (pull-down wall bed), bathroom (dual-sink vanity, full-size hot tub/shower, shower stall, oversize towels), sitting area with mini-bar, and floor-to-ceiling windows opening to a step-out balcony.

(AS, A, B, BC) Vista Suites include two lower beds convertible to a queen-size bed, bathroom (WC/shower, oversize towels), sitting area with mini-bar, and floor-to-ceiling windows opening to a private balcony.

(V, VQ, VS, VA, VB, VC, VD, VE, VF, VH) Verandah/Balcony staterooms feature two lower beds convertible to a queen-size bed, bathroom (WC/shower), sitting area, and floor-to-ceiling windows opening to a private balcony.

(D, C, CQ, E, F, FA, FB, OO) Oceanview staterooms and (I, IQ, J, K, L, N) Inside cabins each include two lower beds convertible to a queen-size bed and a bathroom (WC/shower).

Spa cabins are offered in the following categories: SQ (Neptune Spa Suite), VQ (Verandah Spa), CQ (Oceanview Spa), and IQ (Inside Spa). The ship also offers 12 single cabins, bookable with single-occupancy rates.

A distinctive Holland America feature is the set of 32 Oceanview Family cabins (FA-FB), accommodating up to 5 guests. Ranging from 222 to 231 ft² (21 m²), these staterooms include two bathrooms—one large (bathtub/shower, WC, sink) and one smaller (shower, sink). This two-bathroom layout, first introduced by Disney Cruise Line, was a new concept for Holland America.

Modern features in all Koningsdam cabins include redesigned headboards with USB and power outlets on both sides of the bed, stone tops on desks and nightstands, improved lighting, and upgraded closets. There are four color schemes distinguishing suites, spa cabins, balcony, and inside rooms.

Holland America Koningsdam suite guests enjoy additional “perks” (bonus amenities):

• Neptune Suites – Nespresso coffee machine, BOSE SoundDock (multimedia iPod docking station), complimentary in-cabin breakfast, and Elemis luxury bath products.
