RV AmaKaia (2026-built) is one of AmaWaterways' ships operating on the Mekong River. Being a sistership to AmaDara (2015), AmaDara shares a similar design with AmaLotus (2011). The fleet offers cruise itineraries through Vietnam and Cambodia, including Tonle Sap Lake. AmaDara delivers modern comfort and convenience, with all-outside accommodations and extensive public areas. These AmaWaterways vessels are among the few offering top-luxury, all-inclusive Mekong River cruises in this highly popular travel region.
MS AmaKaia’s deck plan includes a total of 62 staterooms accommodating 124 passengers, who are served by a crew of 50. The ship has 3 passenger decks (no elevator), 2 restaurants, a fitness center and spa, and a swimming pool.
AmaDara also features rare amenities for a river cruise ship, such as a full-service spa and a top-deck swimming pool. The new APT AmaDara riverboat provides generous public areas, as well as dining and wellness options typically found only on the largest luxury river ships.
