AmaSonata deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by AmaWaterways deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the AmaSonata cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on AmaSonata staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
MS AmaSonata (built in 2014) is the sixth vessel in the Concerto-class series of the newest AmaWaterways ships, alongside AmaBella, AmaCerto, AmaPrima, AmaReina, AmaSerena, AmaStella, AmaViola, AmaVenita, and AmaVerde. Similar to the latest Viking Cruises longships, these AMA riverboats are among the industry's most innovative and spacious, offering a custom-designed, all-inclusive luxury river cruising experience.
As part of the AmaWaterways fleet, the “APT AmaSonata” is also operated by APT Touring (Australian Pacific Touring), a global tour operator.
MS AmaSonata's cruise ship deck plan includes a total of 85 staterooms accommodating up to 161 passengers, served by 49 crew and staff members. The vessel has four passenger decks (named after musical instruments), four lounges, three restaurants, and one glass elevator connecting the Cello and Violin decks.
The AmaSonata also features amenities rarely found on river cruise ships, such as a sauna and a pool/whirlpool, allowing guests to relax while enjoying the itinerary. Despite its relatively small capacity, the ship offers generous public areas and a wide range of dining and wellness facilities, typically seen only on the largest riverboats.
