Arcadia deck 1 plan (G-Lobby)

Deck layout and review

Review of Arcadia deck 1 (G-Lobby)

  • The Palladium Theatre (capacity 736 seats, large scale productions by “Headliners Theatre Company”, with large Stage for grand musical and acrobatic shows; also hosts religious services; level 1 of 3). The theatre presents a good spread of song and dance revues, comics and bands aimed at British tastes. The Palladium hosts 2 shows per night, at 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., in order to accommodate the set dining times. Two small waiting areas allow guests sit and have a cocktail next to large egg-shaped sculptures. The theatre offers raked individual seats and banquettes, along with stools against bar-style tables at the back of the auditorium on Deck 3. There are also 2 boxes with 6 seats each.
  • Tours Office Desk (P&O Cruises shore excursions booking, planning, information)
  • Arcadia Atrium (open-floor design lobby area with live entertainment)
  • Reception Desk (guest services, assistance)
  • Future Cruise Sales (onboard/discounted P&O cruise deals booking, loyalty program information)
  • Medical Center (aft location) is the ship’s hospital operated by resident doctors / physicians and nurses on 24-hour call duty. The infirmary is open between 8 am – 8 pm (doctor hours between 8-11 am and 3-6 pm). It is equipped with defibrillators, external pacemakers, pulse oximeters, an ECG (electrocardiograph machine), thrombolytic and lab equipment. Treatments at the ship hospital are equivalent to a private doctor’s visit. All treatments, tests and medications are at extra charge. The only exception is Bonine (seasickness medication) also available for free at the lobby Reception (24 hours). General (and UK) health insurance policies do not apply, so buying cruise health insurance is recommended. The ship’s physicians are independent contractors and render medical services at a customary fee. The basic fee doesn’t include medication, tests or treatments. Payments are made via the P&O Cruises Arcadia boarding pass (cabin access / identification card, also storing your onboard account).
  • Cruise cabins from G1 to G109, of which categories: LB, LC, LE and LF – Outside with bath/shower on Low Midship and Low Bow, OB and OC – Larger Interior with shower on Low Midship.
