Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Aurora deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by P&O UK (P&O Cruises) deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Aurora cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Aurora staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
P&O Aurora (built in 2001, last refurbished in May 2023, with the next scheduled refurbishment in April 2025) is one of the larger P&O UK ships, comparable in size to Oceana and Oriana. The vessel was christened by HRH Princess Anne (Princess Royal).
MS Aurora's deck plan includes a total of 981 staterooms for 1,874 passengers (maximum capacity 1,950), served by 860 crew members. The ship has 13 decks (10 accessible to passengers, 7 with cabins), 6 restaurants, 10 bars and lounges, 3 freshwater swimming pools (one covered by a Skydome/retractable roof), 4 outdoor whirlpool Jacuzzis, and 10 elevators.
Note: On P&O Aurora, self-service launderettes are located on Decks C and A. These passenger-use laundry facilities (open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., complimentary) are equipped with washers, dryers, and ironing boards. Detergent is available at an additional cost, or guests may bring their own. Dry cleaning services (Wascomat or Aquatex eco-friendly wet cleaning) are also available, with per-item charges. A full price list is provided in each stateroom.
P&O Aurora Refurbishment 2025 Review
The ship is scheduled to undergo drydock refurbishment in April 2025.
During the April–May 2023 renovation, the ship received new chairs in all passenger cabins, new furniture on all cabin balconies, and updated deckchairs and furnishings across open deck areas. The sundeck around the Neptune Pool was also enhanced with new garden furniture, including loungers, sofas, tables, and armchairs.
