Medina Restaurant (midship/forward Dining Room open for Breakfast 8-9:30am, Lunch 12:15-1:45pm, Afternoon Tea 4-4:45pm, with 2 assigned Dinner seatings – 6:30 or 8:30pm; table capacity 2-10 guests). P&O Freedom Dining means guests can turn up at any time the restaurant is open without booking and can normally be seated right away in case they don't mind sharing a table. However, if they prefer to wait for a table for 2, they get a pager and are called back. Menus are created to appeal to British tastes, including favourites like roasts and puddings (lighter choices are also available). Classic dishes were returned to the a la carte menu in the MDRs, such as egg mayonnaise or prawn cocktail to start, followed by sirloin steak, fillet of salmon or fruit salad. The 5-course a la carte menu changes daily, and might include starters of minestrone or cream of potato and goat cheese soup, or wild mushroom risotto and creamed blue cheese, mains of braised beef in Guinness, roast leg of pork, or tempura of vegetables and then desserts including sticky toffee pudding, ice cream or fruit Pavlova, followed by cheese. The Marco Pierre White menu is available on gala evenings and includes a trio of smoked and cured fish, chicken consomme with shaved black truffle and julienne vegetables, Champagne sorbet, Beef Wellington, Baked Alaska.
Alexandria Restaurant (aft Dining Room for dinner only/Club dining, open from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., 5-course menu, with 2 fixed dinner seatings- at 6:30 and 8:30pm; 6-course menu on Gala Nights, table capacity 2-10 guests)
