Azura deck plans

Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities

Azura deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by P&O UK (P&O Cruises) deckplan pdf (printable version).

Each of the Azura cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Azura staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.

P&O Azura (built in 2010, last refurbished in April 2020) is a Grand-class P&O UK cruise ship, alongside her sistership, MS Ventura. These two vessels were the largest in the P&O fleet until the arrival of MV Britannia in 2015.

P&O Azura’s deck plans show a total of 1,557 staterooms (including 18 single cabins), accommodating 3,100 passengers (maximum capacity 3,737), and served by 1,250 crew members. The ship has 18 decks (15 accessible to passengers, 9 with cabins), 11 dining venues, 12 bars and lounges, 4 swimming pools, 6 outdoor Jacuzzis, and 12 elevators. Both Azura and Ventura were specifically designed to appeal to UK cruisers. Azura is notable for being the first P&O ship to feature an outdoor cinema (SeaScreen).

Note: Onboard launderettes are available for passenger use on decks Riviera, A, B, C, D, E, and P. These self-service laundry facilities are open from 8 am to 10 pm and include washers, dryers, and ironing boards. Detergent is available for purchase, or guests may bring their own. Dry cleaning services (Wascomat or Aquatex eco-friendly wet cleaning) are also offered, with charges per item. A price list is provided in all cabins.

P&O Azura 2020 Refurbishment Review

The ship’s 2020 drydock (April 4–16) at Navantia Ferrolane Shipyard in Ferrol, Spain, was a GBP 20 million project focused on essential repairs and equipment modernization. The operation involved 3,000 people—1,000 crew members, 1,500 contractors (mostly UK-based), and 500 local workers skilled in mechanics, steelworks, and painting.

The refurbishment included technical and hotel maintenance, general upgrades to public areas (all bars and restaurants), and enhancements to passenger cabins (beds, bathrooms, lighting, woodwork, and decor). All staterooms and venues were outfitted with new carpeting and furniture. Four bars were upgraded to serve draught beer, and several outdoor deck areas were redesigned to allow for alfresco dining.
