Review of Silver Spirit deck 7 (Lido-Cabins-Casino)
La Terrazza (formerly "Terrace Cafe") is a complimentary buffet restaurant with both indoor seating and an alfresco dining terrace. It offers buffet-style Breakfast (7-10 am) and Lunch (12-1:30 pm). During breakfast and lunch here waiters are available to carry your plates to your table, and also take orders if asked. Daily menus include most of the items offered at The Restaurant (dining room on deck 4). Wine is complimentary and served by dedicated stewards. La Terrazza buffet also offers complimentary Afternoon Tea service with 10 different specialty teas (served with sweets and sandwiches) and live piano performances.
Each evening between 7 and 9:30 pm, the La Terrazza restaurant transforms into an Italian specialty restaurant (capacity 70 seats) with a la carte menu. Dinners here are waiter-served, with themed menus (dinner reservations are required). Theme menu choices are usually influenced by the Silver Spirit itinerary, with regional cuisine specialties, including original Italian antipasti, handmade pasta, specially cheeses and breads, gourmet desserts. Food and wine pairing here is recommended with each course.
Following the ship's 2018 drydock refurbishment and refit, the aft-starboard located Library (Internet Cafe) was transformed into a Casino (gambling lounge moved here from deck 8). The Casino is equipped with 4 gaming tables (Roulette, Blackjack Poker) and 48 slot machines. It opens when the ship is at sea, and is served by its own Casino Bar (capacity 11 seats).
Laundrette (self-serve laundry facility)
Cruise suites from 701 to 771, of which RS-Royal Suite (cabins #701-702 forward, and #703-704 starboard/portside), and the rest are all Superior and Deluxe Veranda Suites in categories V3-forward and V5-midship.
Note: In 2018, the Stars Supper Club (starboard) was added to the buffet restaurant. The supper club offered a 5-course dinner menu with seasonal, international gourmet cuisine (themed food specialties). Along with its 1930s art-deco decoration, the restaurant offered live jazz music performances and also hosted dancing parties nightly. Dinners were waiter-served (between 8-10 pm / reservations required).
