Carnival Corporation's brand, Princess Cruises, announced an exclusive 5-year licensing agreement with the largest global franchisor of boutique fitness brands, Xponential Fitness, Inc.
With this partnership, Princess will leverage the extensive content of Xponential Fitness in concert with OneSpaWorld's expertise in the fitness, health, and wellness at sea sector to become the first major line offering multiple fitness brands to create customizable passenger fitness experiences at sea.
Over the term of the agreement, a minimum of 8x Xponential brands will be available onboard each of Princess' 15-ship fleet (a minimum of 120x licensed studio experiences in total fleetwide), including Xponential's brands Club Pilates, Yoga Six, CycleBar, Pure Barre, Row House, StretchLab, AKT Dance, and fitness modalities to start.
Xponential Fitness will work with OneSpaWorld, Princess' exclusive partner for fitness, health, and wellness services, to incorporate Xponential's experiences into the fitness offerings provided to Princess Cruises' guests, managed by OneSpaWorld's fitness professionals.
In addition to the onboard Xponential studio classes, Princess Cruises will make Xponential Fitness' XPLUS virtual on-demand studio class subscription service available in 23,000+ staterooms on OceanView - Princess' proprietary digital content platform. Guests do not have to be Xponential Fitness members to experience in-stateroom on-demand classes and in-studio live classes and can continue their onboard experience post-cruise via XPASS at discounted prices.
Princess will further integrate customized equipment packages from Xponential Fitness partners in order to complement its onboard boutique studio. It will also make Xponential Fitness merchandise available in the line's onboard retail stores and on Princess' industry-leading on-demand services platform OceanNow.
Along with the exclusive onboard/post-cruise Xponential Fitness offerings, delivered by OneSpaWorld at sea, the cruise company also becomes the first Xponential Fitness corporate wellness partner through the XPASS multi-brand live studio class program and XPLUS virtual on-demand subscription fitness programming available at exclusive discounts to Princess Cruises' 30,000+ employees.
Xponential Fitness and its brands are now the Official Fitness Content Partner of Princess, while Princess Cruises is the Official Vacation Partner of Xponential Fitness brands.
