PONANT announces Le Commandant Charcot ship's 2024 Arctic cruise schedule

The French ltra-luxury travel company PONANT launched sales of polar exploration voyages scheduled for Le Commandant Charcot's 2024 Arctic season.

Following the steps of the great polar explorers from the east coast of Greenland to the Geographic North Pole, the program comprises 5 different itineraries and 8 sailings, each offering adventure and enchantment.

Le Commandant Charcot is currently the only luxury icebreaker on the planet. With innovation playing a key role in PONANT’s commitment to sustainable tourism, it is the first hybrid-electric LNG-powered cruiser.

Destination-dependant, the Ponant itineraries include observing wildlife, visiting nature reserves, meeting the Inuits, dog sledding, hiking, kayaking, ice fishing, polar diving, Zodiac outings and landings with a team of naturalist guides.
