On February 27th, not one but three AIDA ships moored in Port St Johns on the Caribbean island of Antigua, when the Caribbean schedules of the sisterships AIDAdiva, AIDAluna, and AIDAperla intersected with each other.

The spectacle was an exciting event for the guests. The ships' Masters/captains Panagiotis Mantzavinos (AIDAdiva), Sven Gartner (AIDAluna), and Pedro Ziegler (AIDAperla) took the opportunity for a special meeting among colleagues. The crews organized a pierside party for the passengers with live music, complimentary drinks, and a FitforDrums workshop.

During the 2022-2023 winter season, AIDA ships visit Antigua on a regular basis. 27 calls are scheduled for this season. The sistership meeting of the 3 AIDA liners in St. Johns was an unforgettable experience and will long be remembered by the people involved.

This month, it is time for the 3 AIDA vessels to say goodbye to the winter cruising grounds. AIDAdiva is off to Warnemunde, where she will depart for Scandinavia cruises in the summer. AIDAluna will offer sailings to Norway and Sweden as well as to the Arctic Circle out of Kiel. AIDAperla’s summer homeport will be Hamburg with cruises to Norway’s fjords on the itinerary.
