CCL-Carnival Cruise Line plans to expand its Alaskan season with another 3-ship deployment this year, following the success of its 2022 Alaska season.

The cruise line will offer 49 Alaskan cruises with new shore excursion experiences and the arrival of Carnival Luminosa, its newest addition to the fleet.

Carnival Miracle will commence the season on April 23, 2023, from Los Angeles (Long Beach, California), for a 14-day journey, followed by 10-day cruises from its seasonal homeport of San Francisco.

Carnival Spirit's first departure is set for May 2, 2023, from Seattle WA, followed by Carnival Luminosa on May 4, 2023.

The three ships will operate 6-, 7-, and 8-day sailings from the Port of Seattle, visiting popular ports of Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, Victoria, BC Canada., and cruising Tracy Arm Fjord. Carnival Luminosa, which recently joined the fleet, will offer unique features such as a Cloud 9 Spa and a sky dome over the pool deck.

The Alaskan sailings for next year are already open for sale, and the cruise line plans to expand further in 2024 with its largest-ever Alaska deployment, featuring 53 cruises.

Carnival ensures guests have a remarkable experience in every Alaskan destination on their itinerary, with a variety of opportunities to appreciate breathtaking scenery, rich culture, and deep history on land. Carnival offers local experiences that cater to each guest's preference, from whale watching in Juneau to ziplining in Skagway. This season, Carnival introduces two new excursions for Carnival Miracle cruises visiting Prince Rupert, BC Canada., including the Khutzeymatten Grizzly Bear Expedition and Exchamsiks Exploration.

In addition to the new excursions, Carnival provides several activities for children and families, such as a digital scavenger hunt, square dancing, and crafts. Guests can also participate in a family ice fishing challenge and a family lumberjack challenge, creating memories that last a lifetime.
